The management and staff of the Iguana Reef Inn wish to extend best wishes to Josh and Heather who were married on our beach July 20th. The weather leading up to the time of the nuptials was a bit dicey but it turned out to be wonderful late afternoon for the small gathering of family and friends.

Finally, Lobster Season 2010 has arrived! It was a bountiful day for the lobster fisherman so all of the Caye Caulker restaurants have lobster on the menu ... lobster omelets, lobster burritos, grilled lobster ... the options are endless. Pictured below is Julio, our gardener, helping our neighbor Marlyn clean his opening day catch, which was in excess of 300 pounds of just tails. Don't forget Caye Caulker LobsterFest is the last weekend in June!

The 2010 lobster season opens on June 15 and that means Lobsterfest 2010. The dates have been announced and the dates are .... June 25, 26 and 27. The night of June 25 is the Lobsterfest Pageant which crowns the Lobsterfest queen. Lobsterfest weekend is one of the most popular weekends of the year so if you're planning on coming to Caye Caulker for the festival don't wait too long to book accommodations.
